Lincolnshire undiscovered, off the beaten track, one of the most unspoilt parts of rural England. Stretching from the Humber to the Wash on the east side of England, Lincolnshire is an immense county of varying landscapes. You will find open rolling hills as well as deep-sided valleys. Quiet country roads run along the ridges giving wonderful views across the Wolds.
To the east coast you descend onto the coastal plain, with its marshland and miles of sandy beaches, head south and find the Fens with wide open skies and magnificent churches.
From October to January the seal pupping season is in full swing and it gets very busy. More at Donna Nooks weekly seal-update.
Also, here in Lincolnshire, the night sky is just perfect for stargazing, at times, guests staying with us are rendered speechless by what they see just by looking up, even without the use of a telescope.
